Seems like a fine change to me, though some complaints seem a little justified just due to the system flagging stuff that shouldn’t be flagged or whatever, as this image shows.
Though as someone who doesn’t really use AI Dungeon I don’t know what this prompt actually does, like if it stops you from continuing or whatnot so I don’t know if it’s even a big deal but it does seem like something they need to fine-tune.
I had never thought that people might use something like AI Dungeon for underage sex stuff. Ugh.
Man I played AI dungeon when it first came out and it never crossed my mind people would use it for fetish role play, but it does make total sense now that I think about it.
The people on that subreddit are totally unhinged, and the number of people openly admitting to using it for pedophilia fantasies is mind boggling.
Also I kind of just assume with a game like AI dungeon that they could totally read your stories. Feeding information into the AI to improve it’s storytelling ability is like it’s #1 advertised feature. I don’t know why anyone would assume otherwise.
Man, AI Dungeon is so cool (even though they’ve had to monetize it in ways that pushed me away from playing regularly), but it was amazing when i’d input the back-of-the-box description of Morrowind and it straight up generated a text-based Morrowind for me.
What? When did I ever mention freedom of speech? I’m talking about a breach of trust and lies in a setting that is highly sensitive. If you’re looking for a strawman, you can find it elsewhere.
