Born as Priscilla Ann Wagner, later changed to Beaulieu by adoption, on May 24, 1945, she is an American actress and business tycoon. Her biological father was a US Navy pilot James Wagner. After his death in a plane crash when Presley was six months old, her mother married a US Air Force officer named Paul Beaulieu in 1949. She came to know about her real father later when she spotted clues in an old wooden box of family keepsakes, although her mother urged her to keep the secret to herself lest it “endanger our family closeness.” Her adopted father took over her care and he was the only father she knew. His Air Force career moved them from Connecticut to New Mexico to Maine. She described herself of that time as “a shy, pretty, little girl, unhappily accustomed to moving from base to base every two or three years.” She later recalled how uneasy it was for her to move so often, never knowing whether she would make long-term friends or if she would be at ease with the people she would meet at the next place.
During Elvis Presley’s army days, he met Priscilla on September 13, 1959, during a party at his home in Bad Nauheim, Germany. She was only 14-years-old, but, she made a big impression on him. Elvis was reported acting like an “awkward, embarrassed” boy-next-door figure in front of her, however, by the time the evening ended, he managed to get a grip on himself.
