Follow Josh VanDyke on Twitter30 Hart girls basketball defeats Montague 47-35MONTAGUE – The Hart girls basketball program has won three consecutive district championships and averaged 16 wins per season during that span but one thing has always eluded them – a West Michigan Conference championship. “Hart has always seemed to be disrespected by other teams for so many years,” said fourth-year Hart head coach Travis Rosema. “The last game against Montague, we only won by one and we put in a new transition (offense) and I think that really helped us. “Losing Jayd was huge, but I knew what we had coming back this year with girls like Aspen, Mariana, Addi, Abby, Morgan, (Aubrey) Aerts and the whole team really. Some people were worried that there would be a layover from that game, but we were ready for Montague.
